SHASTA CLASSIC RULES

1.     Pooling will be paid in order of trapping. All ties pay equally.

2.     Race day will be officially over one half hour after sunset of day two,  If after one half hour after sunset of day two and all Capital prizes are not won they will be split among birds that have finished the race.

3.     Pooling on the 250mi & 350mi races.

4.     NO AUCTION OR BUY BACK, BIRDS BELONG TO THE BREEDER.  All birds not picked up after 14 Days become property of the Classic. Birds will be shipped for $60.00 or more if PO rates go up.

5.     Any backup birds not activated become property of the Shasta Classic. And will be auctioned off to anyone who pays entry fee of $300.00 plus purchaser will own that pigeon.

6.     Must be at least 21 years old to enter.

7.     10% cut on all fees

8.     A completed IRS W-9 form will be required if you should win $600.00 or more.

   
Grizzle/White Class: We will again have the Grizzle/White Race this year, Grizzle/White birds must also be entered in the 1^st Classic Race.  They may then be entered in the Grizzle/White Class for $100.00 ea.  At the 320mi Race just for Grizzle/White Birds, The 1^st Grizzle/White Bird to trap will win that Class.  

10    r less birds in class will pay 100%

11 to 20 birds will Pay 1^st & 2^nd ,  70%/30% split

20 or more birds will be Pay 1^st ,2^nd &3^rd  50/30/20 split

No fees will be taken out of this Class and the bird could win both the Classic and the Grizzle Race. 

 HIGH ROLLER CLASS: New this year. Two race Ave speed 

Nominate bird or birds for $500.00 each after race #2.

10 or less birds in class will pay 100%

11 to 20 birds will Pay 1^st & 2^nd ,  70%/30% split

20    or more birds will be Pay 1^st ,2^nd &3^rd  50/30/20 split

The Eliminator Series, ($10.00)($50.00) / Bird;  you have to nominate your           bird, or birds, before the 1^st race, the 150miler,

After each race only the first 50% of the birds entered in the Eliminator Series will be eligible for the next race. All Places will be determined by clocking order.

Example:

 If 200 birds are entered in the Eliminator, and go to the first race. 

100 birds will be eligible for Race # 2. 200miler,

50 birds will be eligible for Race # 3, 250miler,

25 birds will be eligible for the last race 320miles.

The first $10.00 Class bird through the trap on the last race that is in the Eliminator Series will win $1800.00 ($2000.00-10%) THE PRIZE FOR THE WINNING $50 ELIMINATOR BIRD WOULD BE CALCULATED IN THE SAME FASHION.
